Vocale

Vocale is our after school chorus program.  Students who sing in this ensemble receive 2 credits for a full year of participation.  We focus on songs for a small ensemble, or "chamber music". Vocale has four required concerts: Winter, Spring, MICCA, and Graduation.

Tuesday/Thursday 2:45-3:30

We  have other opportunities throughout the year for interested students such as the Chamber Concert, Cabaret, NHS musical, and District Festivals by audition.  Be sure to look at the full calendar (under construction). 

Concert Attire

Women wear a full-length black dress or black slacks and blouse.
  • Flats or very solid heels are required for safety since we step quickly up and down concert risers.  
  • Jewelry and make up are encouraged.  
  • Perfume is not allowed.
  • Stage Accents is a company you may use to order a black, full length gown.  Here are two dress you may choose.    Purchasing a dress is not required, however, finding a full length gown in the department stores can be difficult.  This is also the required gown for Chorale.  Some of my students prefer to cover their shoulders, and that is an option you will see. .

​Men wear tuxes or dark suits and black shoes.  
  • White shirt & tie.
  • Tuxedos are required for Chorale and optional for Chorus.  You can purchase very good used and new tuxedos at an excellent price from Keezers of Cambridge.  A used tux looks great and costs less than a new suit.
